This is from a protest Westboro Baptist did on easter in Orlando, FL. We were hoping for a bigger turn out but it still went well. The Westboro guys face is priceless. The news guy filming is from the local media there doing a story on the protest.

Personally, I wouldn’t say a thing. They’re like internet trolls, but in real-life. When you respond to a troll, they get satisfaction. They have achieved their goal.
They want a furious and rage-filled response from you, that is what they desire.
Don’t give them what they want, which is attention… they are media whores after-all, and they will cease to bother anyone.
so if someone came to your mothers funeral calling her a disgusting whore, saying they are glad she’s dead, you’d not tell them anything about it? where does free speech end and harassment begin? they have a right to behave like the morons they are, and others should have the right to react to it.
I wasn’t saying they shouldn’t be allowed to do it. I think it’s stupid and pathetic, but I agree everybody has the right to free speech.
I was just saying that the counter protesters were excersising their right to free speech.
Some people think gay pride parades are offensive.
Muslims think women who show any amount of skin other than the skin between their eyes is offensive.
There are many who think violent video games are offensive and should be outlawed.
Your definition of offensive is different from everyone else’s.
I don’t find the westboro church offensive at all, I find them pretty hilarious actually.
Nobody, no one, EVER has the right to prohibit free speech just because they find it offensive.
But they’re way overboard with their shit.
It’s offensive, why should people have to put up with it over and over?

they shouldn’t aggravate you, because nobody is really listening to them anyway. They have very little influence on anyone else.
I was exaggerating because they really aggravate me. If I had a member at gunpoint I wouldn’t shoot them. They make me so mad because they have the balls to go and protest funerals, and call people fags. They beleive gays shouldn’t be in the world, in a way that is going against freedom. By the way, I am all in favor of free speech, I am outspoken of my views.
It is, and so is my reply wishing people would respect free speech.
That’s the beauty of free speech, and pretty much the whole point. So that people will try to use it’s influence to better society
